Need More Help?

You'll need a torque wrench, socket set, hitch pin with clip, and possibly a rubber mallet for tight fits. A flashlight helps for alignment.

Check your receiver tube size (2" or 2.5") and compare it to the hitch specifications. Our Fit Guide can help match your vehicle and trailer.

A light coating of grease on the ball and shank helps prevent corrosion and makes installation easier. Wipe off excess to avoid dirt buildup.

Inspect before every tow. Check torque specs after the first 50 miles and periodically thereafter. Look for wear, cracks, or loose hardware.

Anti-rattle devices reduce play between the hitch and receiver, minimizing noise and movement. They're recommended for a smoother, quieter tow.
